the free bird athame

this one is actually a commission from a friend of mine starting into the craft and wanted his own custom athame. the overall length is 18 inches or so, featuring a maple cross guard with protective runes etched into it. the handle is wrapped in buckskin with a trailing tassle of a wooden bead, silver colored bead and a copper spiral. there is a secondary copper wrap under the guard. It also features a protective rune punched into the blade just above the guard.
